Capstone Project Automated Hydroponics System
Penn State University, Harrisburg, PA
Worked cross functionally with two team members to assist the biology department in cannabis research. Focused primarily on the control system aspects of this project. Employed MATLAB, C and C++ to create the system from the ground up that continuously tests water values and making adjustments.
- Utilized C++ to program Arduino microcontrollers and built circuitry to measure and adjust water temperature, flow, and nutrient levels
- Developed a human/machine interface to read and adjust Ph values and total dissolved solids
Rocket Injector Plate Thermal Analysis

Employed MATLAB programming language to create a finite element analysis simulation and user interface to analyze heat transfer and thermal properties for a variety of different injector plate materials.
